Harland’s journey into music wasn’t a conventional one. With no formal training, she taught herself songwriting and production in a tiny Brooklyn apartment, turning everyday sounds into beats and melodies using an MPC 2000 sampler. That hands-on approach, driven by curiosity and instinct, led her from indie experimentation to signing deals with BMG, Sony Music, and Alberts Publishing (home to AC/DC).
